2010 special Announcement
2
Dear South Mountain Reptiles Customer:

On January 24th, we added several adult corns to our SURPLUS PAGE. They brumated from mid September, 2009 to mid January, 2010. They are priced to sell quickly.

2010 UPDATE ! January, 24,2010 We still have over 600 of the 2009 hatchling corns in stock. Take advantage of our new $35.00 flat-rate shipping for retail U.S. orders.

WINTER SHIPPING

Until further notice, during our winter shipping season, domestic, next day, door-to-door U.S. shipping will be only Mondays and Wednesdays each week that does not have a conflicting holiday or reptile expo. Tailored for each order, all animals are custom packed in new boxes, and include applicable temperature modifiers (heat and/or gel packs) relative to anticipated weather and respective shipping routes. With over 35 years of packing and shipping experience, we guarantee live arrival if delivery is not delayed by the customer's failure to be available for the first delivery attempt by Fed Ex (or their contractors). Our winter shipping prerequisites are:

- destination (and Fed Ex Hub in Memphis) night temperatures must be above 14 degrees F.

- destination (and Fed Ex Hub in Memphis) airport must be operating normally

- destination city streets must facilitate delivery truck traffic

If temps are below 14 degrees F, but above 5 degrees F, and if city streets and airports are open to normal traffic, we will ship - provided the customer picks up the package at a Fed Ex facility. In this way, we avoid the extra exposure to cold temperatures in the delivery trucks.

Enjoy the photo gallery of animals and important visual aids for snake keepers. See the link <--- there on the left side of this page? We'll be adding images to it constantly. The animals pictured there are not necessarily representatives of types we're offering for sale at this time. Many are works-in-progress and when we begin to predictably produce them in sufficient quantities, they'll be added to your price listings. We just want to share the beauty of these animals with you since you can't be here to see them in person. We hope you'll enjoy the gallery and if you ever have any suggestions of how we can make it better, please let us know.

Our new flat-rate shipping fee is $35.00 for Fed Ex, priority overnight shipping to any U.S. location. Our regular shipping days are Mondays and Wednesdays, for next day delivery in most areas this time of year. Due to potential shipping delays, in special cases where we agree to ship on a Thursday, the live-arrival guarantee does not apply. We still guarantee live delivery for Monday and Wednesday shippings, provided the first delivery attempt is successful. This guarantee only applies to packages directly handed to the customer by the Fed Ex driver, and those personally picked up at Fed Ex stations (including most Kinko's locations). Delivery waivers that permit Fed Ex to leave the package outside your door negate eligibility for our live arrival guarantee. We prefer not to ship on the days immediately before or after major holidays. Exceptions will be made on a one-by-one basis.

Our mailing address is South Mountain Reptiles, P.O. Box 1952, Canyon Lake, TX 78133. If you need to speak to us on the phone, call 830-964-3200.

We wish to thank all of you who helped make it possible for us to produce all the new and exciting corn snake morphs we have. Also for your comments and suggestions that made up a large portion of our new book CORN SNAKES IN CAPTIVITY.
