| Palmetto Reservation |

Many have been asking how to purchase a Palmetto Corn. We are not selling any of the 2011 hatchlings, but beginning Sunday, July 31st, 2011, at 3:00 pm, cdt (GMT- 5), we began taking reservations for the 2012 homozygous (aka: visual) female Palmettos for $4,000.00 USD each. Males and heterozygotes (aka: hets) of either gender will not be sold until 2015 or later. In an effort to make Palmetto Corns a more desirable investment, we are not going to flood the market via over-production, as has been the usual trend in corn snake production and marketing. By not letting a single specimen leave our possession in 2011, and by selling only a few females in 2012, 2013, and 2014, we believe Palmettos will have a higher and longer-lasting value in future snake markets. Every living Palmetto in the world today is at this facility, demonstrating that we will not engage in breeding co-operatives with other breeders. In other words, even our cherished friends can only participate in Palmetto production via the same reservation means set forth in this document. It is our goal to encourage responsible marketing for the production of rare corn snakes, in an effort to make corns worthwhile investments – more like the Ball Python and Hognose Snake Markets. There will be three ways in which to reserve a 2012 female Palmetto. Not knowing exactly how many will be available in 2012, we cannot guarantee that everyone who reserves one will have the opportunity to purchase, but the three-level reservation system we’ve used in the past will be used for reserving Palmettos. We have decided that to minimize the potential for being unable to fill all orders, we will only allow six females to be reserved in level A (prepayment of $4,000.00 USD each) and only six to be reserved via level B (partial payment - $1,000.00 USD each – 25% of purchase price).
Below are the only three ways a 2012 female Palmetto can be reserved: A) Only six 2012 female Palmetto corns can be reserved at this level - at this time. This top reservation level requires full payment ($4,000.00 USD each). In the event that we are unable to fulfill any prepayment orders, prepayers on this list will be given the option for a full refund OR priority placement on the A level list for the potential second 2012 hatch OR priority placement on the 2013 A level list. In 2012, all six prepayment purchase orders will be satisfied - in the order in which they were reserved - before filling purchase orders for those in the next reservation level, B.
B) Only six 2012 female Palmetto corns can be reserved at this level - at this time. This second reservation level requires prepayment of at least a $1,000.00 USD deposit. In the event that we are unable to satisfy reservations at this level, depositors on this list will be given the option for a full refund OR priority placement on the B level list for the potential second 2012 hatch OR priority placement on the 2013 B level list. Deposit payments larger than 25% of the listed price will not have priority over those who paid the minimum 25% deposit. In 2012, B level listed depositors will be asked to finish payment for their reservations - in the order in which they were reserved - after purchase orders for the six prepayers from reservation level A are satisfied.
C) Finally, there are two reasons to be on the reservation level C list. Information below requires that those who reserve by prepayment or deposit in levels A or B will be given 14 days to pay the respective reservation $ amount. This mainly allows for the processing time sometimes necessary for the completion of payments via direct bank wire transfers, but if for any reason any of the six pre-payers or six depositors is unable to pay for their reservation before August 15, 2011, we will make their reservation position available to those who reserve in levels B and C. Those potential offers will be made in the order in which B and C level reservations are received. The other reason for getting on this list is in the event that we produce more than 12 female Palmettos in 2012. Should this happen, we will offer them to those on this reservation level, in the order their reservations were received.

Your email will be time stamped via our email service - in the order of receipt. Later that day (Sunday), I will respond to ALL emails received, to confirm reservation status. The first six emails requesting reservation by prepayment and the first six emails requesting reservation by 25% deposit will be advised via email how to make payment. Be sure to include your telephone number in the unlikely event that email communications fail. Of course, anyone can reserve a 2012 female Palmetto at any time beginning at 3:00 pm cdt (GMT- 5) on Sunday. It would be wise to be on the C level list in case someone defaults on A or B level lists.
